These Sunrise Romantic Cheesman Park Engagement Pictures in Denver Colorado were a dream to photograph. Clarice and Dave are getting married very soon. However, we wanted to plan an engagement session that was full of stylish romance, and still celebrated their engagement without rushing into the wedding. From the moment we started photographing, these two relaxed into their love for one another, giggling, dancing, and just being themselves; it was a true joy to witness.

Cheesman Park’s Pavilion was the perfect spot for their engagement pictures.

Dave and Clarice met in Dublin, Ireland. Since then their relationship has taken them all over the world together. It only made sense to plan an engagement photo shoot that felt like maybe we were in Italy or France, rather than Denver Colorado. We chose Cheesman Park with it’s iconic marble pillared pavilion as our backdrop. I adore this city park in Denver, it’s classic architecture truly is something stunning to admire.

In these Sunrise Romantic Cheesman Park Engagement Pictures in Denver Colorado, early morning was one of the key elements.

The early morning light at sunrise creates such a romantic feel. It also allowed us to have some privacy in an otherwise busy city park being there so early in the morning. We chose a color palette that was a little bold with navy blues, grey, maroon, and marsala. We aimed for colors that stood out against the bold, cream, marble pillars and made Dave and Clarice shine. Clarice’s dress from lulus was a bold navy blue, and it flowed in the wind so effortlessly. Shannon with The Olive and Poppy created the most incredible bouquet that complimented Clarice’s dress perfectly. Shannon is true a floral genius, and the sweetest lady ever, I highly recommend her if you are looking for a florist! I was so in love with the flowers she designed for us.

Love is in the air.

These engagement pictures were meant to show off Dave and Clarice, and the love that they have for one another. While we planned some additional elements to really make things stand out, they were the true stars of the show. They know one another so well, and their love is so timeless and relaxed! I cannot wait to photograph their big day oh-so-soon!
